Late Night Delivery

I was shocked when I received an SMS regarding my latest online purchase. The "seller" asked whether she could send my order at around 10.30pm, a day after transaction. I purchased something over GMarket after numerous satisfying purchases. All of them were overseas yet the latest is local, living 20 minutes away. But the product is good. Too good to be true for 80% off the original price. But I took my chances and purchased.
The package sent by hand

After examining it closely, the material is good and comfortable, and it's a nice fit (thank goodness) BUT i found the defect. The inner signature strips were stitched on off-centered as per last picture above. No one will notice since it's inside. Yet another satisfying purchase.

Compromised Shopping

After a Saturday morning meeting (YES!!! Who the hell does a meeting on Saturdays?!), I planned to go Orchard to do a little shopping to ease off some deprivation. I told myself that I'll just come for the meeting only but NO!!! There's so much to follow-up after. From a planned 12pm exit, I left at 3pm. So I pleased myself to enjoy my shopping BUT it was pouring heavily. Hence I compromised my Orchard shopping to Tampines shopping. After an unsatisfying read (I'm so not into human geography but telling myself to complete it even though it has been 3 weeks I've yet to complete) at Starbucks till around 4.30pm, I went up Tampines Mall to browse.

The first that I managed to grab is a book at Popular. A follow-up of The Secret at 40% off the original price. Yay!!! What a bargain, thanks to my numerous membership applications over the past few months.
Next up at Isetan, I needed some necessities and I got myself an undershirt for my uniform (I'm not liking my workplace more and more as I typed). It may be pricy but through experience it is a good fit and comfortable.
I should still go out to Orchard for some worthwhile shopping. I'm still searching for some necessities and it won't hurt to browse. Let's hope tomorrow I'm up for that.

March shopping

It has been quite some time since I last shop. Bravo... And it's been ages since I got my last game. Intended for Final Fantasy XIII but ended getting something else.

Got me Dragon Age 2 and another shop membership. So much membership card in my wallet but if it's worth the deal, why not.

Inspirational Reading or so it seem...

Finally I made good use of my Kinokuniya membership for it's 20% members sale and just in time too as I completed my last remaining book. So off I went in search for some inspiration.

Inspiration to never give up hope

Inspiration for a better tomorrow

And inspiration to meet new people in new places

Preparation for CNY

Something to cover me for the Chinese New Year weekend. That's if I loss interest in my books and comics. So the back up plan.
It's not easy looking and quite expensive for this baby andI managed to get hold of it. Saw the 2nd hand copy a few days back but some lucky guy must have snatched it even at $20 off. Even the row of 2nd hand games were emptied.

Mr Mailman Was A Week Late

Look what just came in today when I was at work. YEAY!!! Finally it arrived after a week of delay. And what is it you like ask?

Ta daaa....

I got myself a new killer shoe all the way from ching-chong ching-chong Hong Kong!!! A bit racist but it has a nice tune to it, won't say.
I'm in need of a darker shoe besides brown and I found this online. It's a Adidas Forum Mid Nom De Guerre. It took me a year plus to find a replacement for my old white Adidas Forum Lo which I threw away due to infection of foot rot whenever I wear it. I bought the old pair around 9 years back.

But now I'm happy again to own another Adidas Forum and it's a unique breed.

Book Shopping

This time round, I managed to clock the hours I took to complete a book. Boy was I impressed. I finished a 200+ pages within a collected 6hrs over 6 days. Furthermore, the book (Logic Made Easy) is super complicated for me to comprehend.

When I finished a book, it means I need to go to Kinokuniya to replenish a new book. I've been pondering to sign up for the privilege card for ages, so I decided to sign it up since I'm coming back at least twice a month. Maybe more if I need to get some magazine or trade paperback.

So with my new privilege card, my damages for the day, "Hector and the Search for Happiness" by Francois Lelord and "The Big Questions" by Steven E. Landsburg. I forsee these two would take me about a month to complete on top of my added workout regime.
