Geek-Tastic

A new game that I can't wait. I rushed to my usual GameStore to get hold of a copy. Contemplated on the limited edition but I have no use of the 4-disc soundtrack and I'm space conscious over the bulkier package. But still truly thrilled to get the regular copy at member's price (Truly a geek indeed).

Profit Sharing Spree

After a year in the MRO company, I finally get to taste the much talked about profit sharing. In aviation line, it is said to be the high grossing line, and it sure it is. My company profit pay out for FY2011 was 4.81 months. That's a hell lots a month. After planning the expenses for bills, numerous tickets and family sharing, I managed a good amount of shopping. It wasn't much but it was quite satisfactory.

Needed a few more perfumes and the salesgirl recommended Black by Kenneth Cole. The spicy note wasn't to my liking but after a long exposure, it did smell good.

Upon cashing out, I saw a sample perfume over the counter. Hugo Just Different is something I considered but not too keen to get the big bottle. Apparently, this sampler is just nice as it's has a spray head instead of the regular pour over.

Trying to find a better angle for my Kinect even with the Zoom attachment. With the camara clip, the angle captured by the Kinect was helpful for a better distance in my small narrow space to workout at home.

My artificial better grade Monster Beats earphone finally gave way 7 months after purchased. The superb quality thrills me to get another but with many poorer imitations and common use of Monster earphones, I've decided to get another brand and managed to get this a-Jays Four with mouth piece at HMV at an affordable price. After testing, it does have the same quality as my Beats earphones.

I am quite picky in my dressing even though it might look simple. I've been eyeing on a Burberry's belt for the longest time but conscience says that the price just not justify the requirements. Luckily, I've stumbled upon a belt from H&M which does perfectly for concealing the excess flap. Not many belt can do it perfectly and this one does. H&M is the best!

I felt in love with this jacket when I saw one of my favorite K-Pop artiste was wearing it. It's not identical but the hood and design was just perfect. This is a actually a winter jacket from Zara which is superbly cheap after sale. I'm planning for Korea soon and hoping that it would still be cold enough to bring this jacket. By far, this is the third winter jacket by Zara that I've bought and I've only been to winter/cold holiday twice.

I noticed that I love to wear shirt and fold up the sleeves. So I know it's about time for me to get a short sleeve button down shirt. It's not easy finding one as I require a plain design as most of my shirts are either checkered or stripes. Finally found it at Springfields and it's purple. I had to break away from my conscience color blue

Still feeling the K-Pop vibe in me and I needed a new spectacles. I found this KL during my glutton trip and was contemplating of getting it. In the end, I left without. Luckily my sister was going over the week after so I directed her to the shop to get it for me. It's just a dress specs for me, so no lens prescription was done. Though I still require a prescription spectacles.

KL Shopless Trip

I almost forgo this Kuala Lumpur trip due to being hospitalized for observation but thankfully was discharged the 2 days before and recuperated sufficiently. So onward to a get-fat-away and I still managed to shop a bit.

Everyone seems to be happily shopping away but I can't find managed to find anything of interest. I knew Kinokuniya KL has a better pricing, so I was happily browsing there.I managed to get Son of A Witch by Gregory Maguire which I was not able to get in Singapore Kinokuniya. I was happy.

The trip was meant fully on gluttony so I did not put aside money for shopping. Near the end of our glutton trip, I managed to have spare and consequently found this lovely loafers which is great for my all time favorite white loafers which was badly stained by someone. It was not priced but a similar pair of a different color was on sale. Upon cashing out, it was not on sale but about RM 10 more. Not much different so I got it. Apparently this was not the first incident of wrong pricing. It was so screwed up. Their lost for such mishap.

Technological Advances

2012 was greeted with a faulty PC keyboard in which I accidentally a cup full of water on new year eve. So the first day of 2012, majority of the keys were useless and I was unable to continue with my blogs entries which pisses me off.

So after a festive baby bath (which my cousin was uber thrilled that I attended), my family planned on going to Ikea Tampines. I took the opportunity to sneak  to go to Courts and search for a perfect keyboard. Majority consist of a mouse which I found no use of because the current mouse is still functional and I do have 2 spare. So I ended getting just a simple keyboard with a certain ergonomic shape.

One would require quite awhile to accustom to the unique shape but the button pressing is favorable and smooth. Worth the while and the money spent though I would have wished that the Apple keyboard could be used on PC.

I've also been eyeing to get an attachment for my Kinect in which I've been under-utilizing. Due to a small room space of  HDB apartment even though my room is arranged spaciously, I've been playing my Kinect at a very odd angle. With the Kinect Zoom, I'm able to view the screen and sensor at the same angle and not at 2 different angles where my head is facing the TV screen and body towards the sensor.

And with a modified Kinect sensor, one would have bought a Kinect related game but one is wrong. I did thought of getting the 2012 Your Shape game but the shop PlayBoxx that I've bought the Zoom was out of stock. The game that I've been searching elsewhere was out of stock but the Playboxx has it. Alas, I've gotten Assassin's Creed Revelation. I've planned on getting the limited edition but like all my other limited edition, it took up too much storage space so I'll stick to regular edition.

For now, I'm happy with my purchases. Something I can spend more time at home rather than at work - an ease in typing my blogs, a space-constrained work-out and continuation to a favorite game series.
