Pyschological Reading

I was proud when I managed to complete a translated Japanese literature within a collected of below 24 hours. I now realized that I enjoy reading, beside my comics reading which I'm neglecting (150+ of back issues to read and still growing ). And reading in a cafe provides the best ambient, minus the rowdy crowd over the weekends which is the only days I can read in peace.

I purposely went over to Kinokuniya after work to get a book. While I'm there, I found 2 other books to add to my reading list. As for now, this is my latest read:
Blunder: Why Smart People Make Bad Decisions by Zachary Shore is a psychology book. I enjoyed reading something new and educational. My previous read were Freakonomics and Super-Freakonomics, and it was an educated read. Now I want to broaden my readings where I can learn something. If I can complete this book over 2 weeks period, I'll definately going to get 2 books to last for every month and subcribe as a Kinokuniya member.

Something for the Office

While in the neighbourhood, I head to my favourite store. Been eyeing for a long time but found no use of it. Now I got my own table at work and I requisited a ton of stationaries, hence I found the purpose and ended the temptation.

While in the topic, I also got myself a notebook that cost a bundle. Something to write my notes and task with. Quite useful up to now, but a bit messy with all the overwhelming task. Sigh...

I cubicle is not my permanent location. So I won't add more things just yet. Hehehehe....

Kinect's Your Shape: Fitness Evolved

The true intend of getting(in this case wishing) for the Xbox360 Kinect was for a full body workout. Even the silliest games worked out the sweat. As for now, I am contented by the fitness program Your Shape: Fitness Evolved.
I needed to get my workout routine running again. I won't be able to do my regular weekly MacRitchie run since I'm working now. So I needed something to motivate me to workout. And this do just fine for the office hour routine(after work workout if running is not permitable). It reads your body movements and contours. So it keeps you updated with the progressions and correction in error movements.

New Game

Finally I finished my Fable 3, and now it's time to move on to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I'm not to sure whether I'll have the time to play it since I'm starting work this coming Monday. But if I have no plans with my friends, I'll definitely stay home to complete this anticipated game.

I've delayed getting it when it was officially out, and most of the shop has sold out. I searched high and low and finally managed to get it from Challengers Plaza Singapura. Members privilege of slightly lower price and points accumulation.
One wishlist down.

Shopping Deprived!!!

It has been a while since I last shop. Time to swipe that dust off the cards and get some clothes for the new job (Surprise!! Will further elaborate about it in JBQC). Sadly just when I feel like shopping, there isn't much interesting buy.

But I managed to get this awesome pants by Calvin Klein Jeans.

I'm quite satisfied with the purchase, especially after few months hiatus.

Fable 3 Limited Edition Set

Finally, it arrived faster that expected. Ahahahah!!!

Fable was awesome, Fable 2 was awesomer... only that I got it way too late because I got my Xbox 360 so much later. Now Fable 3, hope it to be the awesomest of the Fable franchise.

Normal Fable 3 game cost SGD $69.90 but with additional $10, you'll get the game in a leather book-like box inclusive of the following:
- A new quest
- A new quest location
- Fable 3 playing cards
- Guild Seal Coin: Features good and evil side to assist you in making decisions
- A new dog breed
- A unique outfit

Furthermore if you get the limited edition set, some stores like Challengers will include in a Fable 3 leather bookmark and a redemption code for 'Create-Your-Own-Villager' which is said to be pre-order exclusive. So while stocks last.

For a Grande Creme Brulee Machiato

Ahahahahaha...
I've been wanting to get this for my iPod Touch but it's not available in Singapore. So I asked my friend who's working with Apple store. He don't have it but only for the iPhone is available. And the best deal was he's said I can have his since he changed into iPhone 4.

I was super thrilled. But it won't be nice so I had to treat him something. So an Iced Grande Creme Brulee Machiato for these babies and some other covers which are a bit too gay for my liking.

Games To Accompany Me Soon

Why wasn't there great games or cheap games when I needed them. Well now, I'll be pre-occupied with them very soon.

A 2nd hand game for 2 reds+1green. I then realized that I completed it before in the old Xbox and thought it was MUA2. But it's a nice game anyway. Can play again.

Tried the demo and it was quite good, and it cost half the original price

Was anticipating this to come out during my hospitalisation leave. Completed DR2: Case Zero and it was awesome. Best, can load this game from the different endings in DR2: Case Zero.

The Most Awesome Gift EVER...

My sister agrees with me that Kinokuniya is evil. Most of my friends agree with me too. Ok ok, you want to know what was the damage right. I was more interested about a gift in a magazine.

MonoMax (men bags) magazine and it's awesome gift.

Inside the gift box
It's a Fred Perry's pencil case, if you're wondering
Oh My God, awesome or what!!! The Japanese are awesome people. They have awesome magazines. They have awesome gifts. They are truly awesome. Next, I eyeing on the Porter Yoshida magazine, not solely for it's gift (it's mostly tote bag), but for the magazine content as well. Awesome Japanese frenzy...

Damage: 2 reds (Japanese price: 1 red) Stupid import!

Ja Matta!

Deprived!!!

Over the week, I got deprived of not going out. I used up most of my resources at home (no more game to play, movies to watch or books to read, shows on TV). Somehow it lead me to shopping. Since I can't get out, I tried shopping online, just to relieve the urges. And I did found something I like and need.

Original CK X and colored 365 Trunks direct from factory. Not in original box but in a substitute 365 silver packaging.  It's authentic because I have a similar pair from retail

Damage: 1 purple+1 green each (Original Price: 3 reds+1 green)

Besides that, I felt better and tried going to Orchard to accompany my sister to shop. It became a monthly siblings affair. I got most of my necessities and I shouldn't spend much for the future. But like I said, I used up most of my resources at home. I need either a game to play or a book to read. As a result, I manage to get a book, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer.

A book narrated by a 9 year old boy, trying to find which lock in New York city will open by a key left by his late father.

I'm still not satisfied with the urges though.

My new workstation

Ikea is crazy. Has always been crazy. My main intention was to get a new blind for the window and a new tv rack to hold all my game console neatly. But I ended up getting photo frames and racks instead of the tv rack. My lil sister said it was depressing spending so much on photo frames. You bought some too lil sis!!!

It's been a busy week but I finally managed to put it all up.

Before:
There used to be smaller frames pasted above the PC but I brought it down since I've painted the wall late last year.

After:

So I got racks to hold my toys and new frames. Also I put up my Ikea's main intention(the window blinds).

Closer look at the rack, frames and my toys

There's also a new workstation makeover due to an accident. While putting up the frame racks, something happened. Noticed the L-shaped PC table in the first picture. Now it became a normal shaped table.

And what became of the extension??

It collapses, together with me on top. Dumb dumb dumb...

Sigh...
