May Hobby Updates

There have been 2 multi-hobby shops sprouting around heartland malls. I'm in favor of TOG over PLAYe due to their care in handling the merchandise. The prices of the merchandise and service from both stores are comparable.

Until recently, my friend recommended to download PLAYe mobile app so that they could credit some cash which needs to be utilized before 23:59. Occasionally, I'll be awarded with $5, mostly $10 and rarely $20. So far I've gotten the following:

While wondering around, I chanced upon a release of what-I-thought-to-be-rare Jango Fett, that I bought one myself.

I also pre-ordered Bandai Model Kit Kylo Ren along with Captain Phasma and it was only released in Late April. I've gotten it only in May.

Pre-Examination Therapy

It's a week from examinations and I really can't feel the jitters of what coming ahead. I couldn't even fathom what or how to start my revision. I ended going around the mall shopping as a therapy.

Bought this out of boredom. Ended giving it as a birthday present.

I've made a new Otaku friend and he recommended me to install a certain gaming store app that will award the user with credits that can offset your purchase. Normally I would just award him if $5 or $10 was credited into my account (normally last within 24 hours). If it's $20 credit, I would use it to get my own stuffs like toys, games or peripherals.

May Day Getaway

I needed a quick getaway and it would be a hassle to plan a last minute one, even to Kuala Lumpur. Furthermore we'll end up being more tired than rejuvenated. Hence Hakimbo and I decided to stay a night across the causeway. We didn't really thought we would shop for anything and boy were we wrong. Or at least I was wrong.

Rydikulez's New Clothes

Since I've drastically slowed down my toy collection, it is time to update my wardrobe. I've started trashing all those overused or badly stained clothes and slowly replenishing it.

I've been looking to get a red polo and managed to get one from Lacoste. Yay, added animal emblem polo shirt

I heard of this limited collection and just curiously browsed Uniqlo. This was sort of an impulse purchase

Saw this and just got to have it. So what if I have it in another colour. It's another colour anyway...

Birthday Gifts

This isn't really something that I've gotten myself but like the title clearly states, it's my birthday presents from people closest to me. I won't name who gave me the item as I don't want anyone to extort from them.

Something unexpected to receive, just by commenting"It might look good on me"

This last gift hold a sentimental value. I've gotten this as a memento of my late mum. Each sibling had gotten individual watches as a personal memento of our mum and will pass it down as a family heirloom.

Head Porter

I can't help it, I'm in love with Japanese products. One of them is Head Porter. I could ask around for friends to get it for me if they any of them are in Tokyo but knowing the trend, it will be sold out soon after release. True to my believes, it was sold out about 2 days after.

It came with a Spring Summer 2016 Look-Book and current catalog. Possibilities of buying more.

Latest Wave of Collection

The toy collection will slow down after this as there won't be much great release for a couple of months. Honestly, it's more of a space constrain.

Got a great deal for this old figure over eBay

The latest figure/mold from Takara-Tomy Transformers Masterpiece

Procrastinated to get this figure for quite a while until I saw it physically. Just had to order it directly from Japan.

Not really a toy but definitely worth the collection. Local retail had not brought it in so I've ordered via Amazon which was cheaper. Plus it was cheaper inclusive of shipping.
