Another local pre-order I collected was quite thrilling. Its a combiner link up to MP Star Saber to form Victory Saber. It may not be produced by Takara-Tomy but the figure is a solid as the original brand.

Latest Wave of Collections

Second half of the year are normally a busy period for me and a financial crunch too. I don't get to spend as much as the earlier months. Most of the purchase thereafter are all my collections or geek stuff.

Pre-STGCC purchase. Saw these in 2015 but it was too expensive. Gotten it at a quarter of the actual price from Facebook Collectors group.

I had the chance to go STGCC this year with a friend. There were so many awesome things to get but I streamlined my collection and only bought those that I really like.

Deadpool-centric with the Cos-Baby out of impulse and the Deadpool Tee that I wanted to get the previous year. The Star Wars postcards were something I bought to snap and use it as my mobile wallpaper

51st NDP

The 51st National Day is on Tuesday so I begged for an annual leave on Monday so I can have four days to fly out of Singapore. Yes, I'm not that patriotic. However, I really wonder why I agreed to go on a holiday that period because it's SUMMER. I told myself not to do it again ever since my summer experience in Shanghai.

This time round we went to another Chinese region which is Hong Kong. I travelled with Evelyn and Hakimbo who intimidate me with another toy hunt after my Japan disappointment. Truth be told, I did enjoy shopping in Hong Kong this time round. I've gotten all that I've hoped for.

Temporary Satisfaction

I've been having a bad week and was quite disappointed at how things got along. I need a quick cheer-me-up which was quite damaging.

I've been eyeing this line for a while before it's release due to the Headmasters gimmick. One of Four purchase

Even after a purchase of the latest Titan Returns Transformers, yet another disappointment occurred that made me look for an alternative satisfaction. This time I've went online and found below item at half the price I've found it in Tokyo.

In addition, my pre-order was ready for collection and I was stoked to collect it. The pre-order was meant for the last 2 pieces but the sixth figure was delayed.

Thankfully, I'm satisfied with my haul and eased of from most of the disappointment. I don't wish this to continue as it's quite an expensive therapy.

Pre Ramadan Retreat

It's getting to regular that I'll head up Kuala Lumpur just before the month of Ramadan begins. Mainly for the food galore but we weren't craving for anything. We just wanted the retreat and maybe do some shopping for the upcoming festive holiday.

First stop, SPAO! It's hard to admit that I have to wear size XL for this brand just because the Koreans are a bunch of weenies.

Since SPAO was within Parkson, I managed to get this product which wasn't meant to be out till July but the salesperson was so nice to sell it to me.

This was impulsive. It was on offer for Toys R Us

No KL trip would be completed without a visit to Kinokuniya. They have the best range of local authors at dirt cheap prices.

Last find was at Muji which I could have gotten it while I was in Japan but the outlet are different. It is still cheaper, hence it's a win.

Japan Geek Trip 2016

There is always that desire to return to Japan for her culture and colorful seasons. My last trip was in 2013 and 2010 and it seems like I will return every 3 years. This trip however isn't about exploration, it was solely for shopping. I had a couple for toy-hunts and some craving for local brands.

Some sort of impulse from Shake Shack. Love the burger and love the running tee it had in Brooklyn New York.

Went crazy with Adidas Original Flagship Store Exclusive but only gotten this due to size available.

Lastly, what is a trip to Japan without food!!!

I had a headache wondering how I could lug everything in my luggage but I did. With 0.5kg more to my baggage limit. Should have gotten something else.

May Hobby Updates

There have been 2 multi-hobby shops sprouting around heartland malls. I'm in favor of TOG over PLAYe due to their care in handling the merchandise. The prices of the merchandise and service from both stores are comparable.

Until recently, my friend recommended to download PLAYe mobile app so that they could credit some cash which needs to be utilized before 23:59. Occasionally, I'll be awarded with $5, mostly $10 and rarely $20. So far I've gotten the following:

While wondering around, I chanced upon a release of what-I-thought-to-be-rare Jango Fett, that I bought one myself.

I also pre-ordered Bandai Model Kit Kylo Ren along with Captain Phasma and it was only released in Late April. I've gotten it only in May.

Pre-Examination Therapy

It's a week from examinations and I really can't feel the jitters of what coming ahead. I couldn't even fathom what or how to start my revision. I ended going around the mall shopping as a therapy.

Bought this out of boredom. Ended giving it as a birthday present.

I've made a new Otaku friend and he recommended me to install a certain gaming store app that will award the user with credits that can offset your purchase. Normally I would just award him if $5 or $10 was credited into my account (normally last within 24 hours). If it's $20 credit, I would use it to get my own stuffs like toys, games or peripherals.
